To access the electronic resources remotely, you need your library card number and PIN (passcode). For E-library, download the app for your mobile device and register with strong identification.
New patron
You may use the same library card in all public libraries (Vaara Libraries) in North Karelia. The first library card is free, and you may get it in any of our libraries. To become a patron, you need to fill out a registration form, please take a photo ID with you.
If you do not have a Finnish social security number, your library card will be valid one year at a time.
